Eight persons were arrested in separate buy bust operations in Himamaylan, Kabankalan and Bacolod cities last Friday.
Himamaylan City PNP led by Supt Antonieto Cañete conducted a buy bust operation at Purok 6, Barangay Aguisan and arrested the No.2 in the city drug watch list Gladys Dayrit, 43, and companion Joemar Mendoza, 45, Friday afternoon.
Confiscated from them were three big elongated sachets of suspected shabu with estimated market value of P150, 000 and marked money.
Police operatives also confiscated one homemade shotgun, locally known as “sulpak”.
